英語(英文)ブックレポート 書き方の例1The innner game of tennis

Book Report 1
Book1: Gallwey, Timothy. W. (2008). The innner game of tennis. NY: Random House.

Summary
This book is written for tennis players and teaches them how to learn tennis faster. Tennis is a sport which is a good leisure, so I chose this book as one of the book about leisure. This book describes how important quite mind is. There are “Self 1” and “Self 2” in this book inside us by author’s definitions. “Self 1” is a doer (player) and “Self 2” is a thinker which analyze how we have played. In other words, “Self 1” is part of unconscious and “Self 2” is one of conscious. Most of players use Self 2 too much and that decreases the speed of our acquisition. For example, saying “That is a good shot” or “Man, I have to play harder” inside your mind is not good for us. In contrast, the best mind condition, which is called “Zone”, is happened when “Self 2” is totally quiet. In addition, this book gives us advices how to quiet our Self 2 and how we should instruct players to get better by quieting “Self 2”

Comments
After reading this book, I understood why the practices which I had done in US brought me up a lot. From my experiences, in Japan coaches makes some routines by depending on player’s cautions. For example, to improve dribble skill for basketball, coaches say “watch your front with your dribble”. In contrast, the coach in us, who trained me require some drills which I do not have to think anything. For example, for the dribble drills, I have to head up and watching my front to do these drills. Therefore, without thinking I acquire the dribble with head up. I improved a lot, but I did not think too much in practice and just practiced the drill which coach gave me when I had been in US. In other words, my “Self 2” was totally quiet and I dramatically improved. Now I am sure that it helps me to get better. Through this experience, I understand this book’s contents not only on the book field but also on the basketball court.

英語(英文)レポートの書き方例6(700語) We Should Give Human Right for Some Robot

このサイトの中では一番長い英語の文で大作になっていますね。題の内容はロボットに人権を与えるべきかという、なんとも書きづらいものですが、イントロダクションからはいり、シーシスステートメントがあり、ボディーがある。そして、コンクリュージョン、コンクリューディングセンテンスがしっかりとしている。英文の書き方の基礎のまとめの例としては、なかなかな物ではないでしょうか?

We Should Give Human Right for Some Robot
We made a lot of robot until now. For example, Runba is for cleaning, Aibo is a dog robot to be communicable with people, and Ashimo is Human Robot walking by two feet. In the future, we may keep making many kind of robot. We can have many image of the many kind of robot in the future. Maybe some of you imagine some Robot which makes us happy, like Doraemon (Fujiko, 1974) or Ararechan (Toriyama, 1980). Others may imagine some robot for war or protect people. Now, we can divide the type of robot. One is the robot which has totally same or surpass emotions and intelligence with humans, and the other is not. If we make such a kind of former Robot, should we give human right for the robot? Some people say “NO” because of afraid to come up against the robot like “Terminator” (Gale & James, 1984). But I am against this opinion and insist that people should give human rights for the robot because the robot can duties, the robot has a parent, and it is also for human if the robot have same intelligence and feelings with human.
People have many duties and do these, and we have human rights, so if the robot having totally same or surpass emotions and intelligence with humans also can do that, the robot must have human rights. We need to do a lot of thing to live, and a governments and societies require these. For example, we have to pay much tax, to work after certain ages and to make our children to study. In addition, we have to obey many laws to have a punishment. Over such a many things, we can get our human rights. Therefore, it is normal for the robot to get human right if robot can do all duties.
The robot is made by human, so in other words, the human is a parent of that robot. Therefore, we have to protect robot to protect the creator. Most creators have big pride to the object. Especially creators who made a robot who has feeling do not want the robot to be wounded. According to Christensen from Georgia Tech University (Salamander, 2009), he insist it is hard to understand that we must not kick the real dog, but it is all right to kick robot one. I exactly agree his opinion and all the more about the robot who have a feeling and a creator.
To give the right is also for general human because without rules we might sometimes confuse how we should treat or communicate with the robot. Ethic and morals have individual differences. This topic is really depends on these. Without rule, we can expect many kind of attitude, so we should make some rule. Christensen (Salamander, 2009) said that some people cannot decide what is right or not to robot, so we have make rule for them. He also said that we have to make sure what is right or wrong to robots, and for it we need rules. Making rules about robot is for humans as well as the robots.
In conclusion, we have to give human rights for the robot who have same or surpass intelligence and feelings with human. We made many kind of robot until now, and we also have images of future robots in the comic or movie. Some images for robot are good like Doraemon or Ararechan, but others are not like Terminator.  We can divide the type of robots. Some are the robots which has totally same or surpass emotions and intelligence with humans, and the others are not. Some people are against giving human right for such a kind of robot because they afraid that the robots go against people. But I am against that opinion because of three reasons: first reason is such a kind of robots can do the duties which people should do. Second, to protect the robot is to protect the dignity of creator. Third, without rules, some people do not know how we should treat the robot. For these reasons, I insist the robot should have human rights if the robots have same or surpass human intelligence and human’s feelings. (704)

英語(英文)レポートの書き方例5 Basketball Level in Japan 

短めの英文の書き方の例です。本来英文はパラグラフライティングのイントロを意識してかいていきます。ただ、英文の書き方としてはこの後に続きますね。これはイントロの例です。最初の出足について書いたものですね。
Basketball Level in Japan
In the NBA, Miami Heat won this championship and closed the 2012 season. NBA final was so exciting every year and not only American people but also the people who are interested in basketball all over the world are absorbed in watching the game. Of course, many Japanese also watch the Game, but it is sad that just one player, Yuta Tabuse has played in the field. In short, the level of basketball in Japan is not so good for Japanese to play in NBA. In addition, national men’s national team can not advance to London Olympic. Basketball level in Japan is low among developed country, and we emphasize one reason, physical disadvantage, but actually there are many other factors which we have to consider.
